The 33 cm is a large exercise wheel for mice and dwarf hamsters, designed for minimal spinal strain and quiet movement. Many animals put too much strain on their spine while running in an exercise wheel because they have to run bent over in a wheel that is too small. Due to the generous size of this wheel, that is no longer an issue. The spine is minimally stressed because the animal can run much straighter, and the closed running surface ensures safe running. The wheel is made of plastic for easy cleaning and runs smoothly and whisper-quiet, which is ideal because mice and hamsters are nocturnal animals. The wheel can be placed upright in the cage with its stand, or attached to the bars.
